Useful tip to buy the best and cheapest air conditioner system

It feels great to step into a cool room in a scorching hot day. Air conditioning makes it possible to feel more comfortable even on the hottest days of the year.

So what’s the best air conditioning option for making your home colder?
If you choose an efficient air conditioner, you will spend less money on your utility bills.Generally, there are four main types of home air conditioning units and systems.
In this article, we take a look at the pros and cons of each unit or system to help you decide which is the best choice for your home.
1- Central air conditioning system
If you want to cool down your entire home and you already have duct-work in place, this is the most popular choice. This type of cooling unit operates from one big compressor located outside, and air flows through ducts in the walls and out through vents placed strategically around the house.
Advantages of using a central AC system:
Central air systems usually have great energy efficiency rating, so you can expect lower energy bills . Also if you want a largely invisible and silent cooling system, it is the best option.
Disadvantages of using a central AC system:
You need a place outside to put the compressor, so it could cause some problems, if you live in a dense urban area. If you don’t already have ductwork in place,
you’ll need to make ducts through your walls, which will require cutting and patching holes in your plaster to get the job done.
2- Ductless mini-split air conditioners
Mini-splits are ideal for Heating and cooling individual rooms in your home. They have two main components — an outdoor compressor and an indoor air-handling unit.
Advantages of using a ductless mini-split air conditioner:
They can also be a good choice for places where extending or installing distribution ductwork is not feasible. They are designed for individual areas in your home. This system offers some extra conveniences like the ability to control individual room temperature and the potential for heating your home as well. Plus ductless systems are highly efficient.
Plus, since mini-splits are a type of heat pump, they can also provide home heating in the winter.
Disadvantages of using a ductless mini-split air conditioner:
Bear in mind that ductless mini-splits are more expensive than window or portable units, but less expensive than central air if you are cooling only a few rooms. You also need a professional to perform the installation.
3-Window air conditioners
Window units are a common type of cooling equipment, which are designed to fit in double- and single-hung windows. They’re commonly installed in places that lack central air conditioning, or they can give a cooling boost to single rooms in larger homes. It’s compact enough to fit in your window, and it works by keeping the compressor outside of your home
Advantages of using a window air conditioner:
If you don’t have the option to make changes to your living space, a window unit makes sense as a temporary and instant cooling solution, and you can take it with you when you move. Plus They are very easy to install.
Disadvantages of using a window air conditioner:
You have to deal with the noise of a compressor. Every unit you install impairs your ability to operate that window and blocks your view of the outside. Also keep in mind that window air conditioners can’t cool an entire home.
4- Portable air conditioners
These are similar to window air conditioners, but they stand on the floor.
Portable models are used for homes in which window configurations or building regulations prevent installation of window units.
Advantages of using a portable air conditioner:
They are even easier to install than window units. They’re also the ideal solution for anyone who doesn’t actually have a window to put an air conditioner into. They are a good choice for renters who move frequently and don’t want to lug a bulky window unit around.
Disadvantages of using a portable air conditioner:
They aren’t as good at cooling as manufacturers claim. Plus they’re pricey and use more energy than similarly sized window units. And because all the mechanical parts are sitting in the room, they tend to be noisier than window-mounted units

Before you buy your air conditioner, you should take all details into account. It would be a good idea to get some expert advice. Not only does it help you save some money but it also gives you an opportunity to choose an efficient air conditioner which lives up to your expectations.
